No Good News Club
At this time, we cannot have clubs, per a Marion County mandate for schools.
FBC Dunnellon Local Good News Club
We are very excited about our local Good News Club. We meet at Dunnellon Elementary School on Mondays* from 2:10-3:40 PM. The club is for children in the 1st-5th grades. Even so, kindergartners may come, if they have an older sibling in club. Most importantly – any child can come, regardless of religious background. Each child needs parental consent in order to attend. (They must have a completely filled-out permission form.) There are no fees.
All Good News Club workers are screened, as required by the CEF Child Protection Policy. In fact, the workers are specifically trained to protect the children physically and spiritually.
Good News Club provides:
- dynamic Bible lessons
- creative learning activities
- inspiring missionary stories
- meaningful songs and games
- super-scripture memory
- snacks and refreshments
Good News Club lessons reinforce:
- respect for authority
- moral values
- character qualities
- biblical principles
*Starts in September. Club is during the school year, excluding holidays and half days.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Good News Club is a weekly interdenominational Christian program for 5-to-12-year-old children. It features a Bible lesson, songs, memory verses, and games. In addition, Good News Club is the leading ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). It creates the curriculum, translates it into different languages for use around the world, and trains instructors to teach it.
