Awana

We are very excited to have you join us in Awana this year! As we start out, we want you to know that all of the teachers and volunteers are praying for you and your family.

Awana stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed, which comes from the scripture verse 2 Timothy 2:15. The Awana Clubs mission is to “reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”

Awana Club Groups

• • Puggles: potty trained 3’s
  • Cubbies: pre-k 4’s and 5’s
  • Sparks: kindergarten – 2nd grade
  • T & T – Grace in Action: 3rd-5th grade

During Awana, children will participate in Bible lesson and scripture memorization, recreation, and small group time. Each week, children will learn a new scripture verse and then recite the verse to their teachers. As a parent, please help your child learn the scripture verses. In Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Each week, children will need to bring their Bible, Awana book, Awana vest, and their scripture verses memorized and hidden in their hearts.

Safety & Precaution

Each Awana volunteer has completed a background check and has been approved to work with children.
